We Handle Management and Security

Two years ago, Auraprint started looking for a partner that could offer mobile device management that is simple, easy, and swiftly updated – devices and services included. They found that in Telia who could fulfil all needs by combining mobile device management with Telia’s lifecycle service.

Telia has long been in charge of all Auraprint’s mobile and internet subscriptions, so expanding cooperation between the companies came naturally. There were many reasons for buying mobile device management and lifecycle services, the most important being that using them is easy.

”First of all, we wanted to concentrate all purchases to one company. Secondly, we wanted the devices to arrive in working condition with software and settings already installed. Thirdly, we wanted to reduce the workload that mobile device management brings”, says Auraprint’s IT Manager Mikko Rantanen.

Telia’s service includes the purchase of smartphones and tablets, the installation of software and settings, information security, maintenance, user support, and the safe recycling of devices at the end of their lifecycle. Installing and updating applications with this service is easy, unlike doing it by hand, which could take hours.

”When we get our devices, I can distribute them to our employees without any additional steps. If we have any issues, I can contact Telia’s customer service and ask them to adjust the devices or software remotely”, Rantanen says.

When we get our devices, I can distribute them to our employees without any additional steps.

The necessary actions can be completed for individual devices or by user groups. For example, Telia can manage the devices of just the printing staff or salespeople. Mobile device management ensures that employees always have access to up-to-date applications and files.

”Information security is obviously important for us, because our e-mails and Office environment store a lot of sensitive data. Because our information security settings are uniform and automatic, we avoid security breaches”, Rantanen says.

Auraprint is happy with the solution Telia offers:

”We’re definitely going to continue our cooperation – and perhaps later expand to computers”
