4. Purpose of personal data processing (use of the data file)

The personal data stored in the user register of the DataInfo corporate portal are used for customer relationship management, customer contacts, marketing purposes and other purposes related to online services. We collect, process and use the personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Act.

5. Content of the data file

The data collected in the register are basic user details, such as:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number
  • Company
  • The company’s address details

Website behaviour and usage data, such as:

  • Time
  • Browser
  • Information generated during the visit to the website
  • Order and delivery data

6. Regular sources of data

The register is compiled of the information the customer has entered in the DataInfo corporate portal when using the website and possibly of information obtained from publicly available Internet sources and tools.

7. Regular disclosure of data

Information in the data file is not disclosed outside the EU or EEA. The controller will not disclose customers’ personal data to outsiders, unless so required by actions of the Finnish authorities.

8. Visitor tracking and Google analytics at Datainfo.fi

This website uses the Google Analytics web analysis service, provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). The JavaScript code of the tracking program is run in the service in connection with each page download. Google Analytics uses so-called cookies to identify the user. Cookies are text files stored on your computer by the web browser. Information on the use of the website is transmitted to and stored on Google’s servers for instance in the United States. Google uses this information to compile reports on the use of the website. These reports can then be used to compile statistics on the number of visitors and to improve the service.

User information collected by cookies is anonymous. The user can prevent the use of cookies by blocking their use in the browser settings. In this case, the user will not necessarily be able to use all the functionalities of the site. By using this website, the user accepts the collection of data by Google for the above purposes.

In addition to the above-mentioned visitor tracking software, the Datainfo.fi site can also use other visitor tracking programs. These programs are typically not used continuously, and in many cases the purpose of their use is to test the software for DataInfo’s other needs than actually analysing the visitors to the Datainfo.fi site.

These programs may save more detailed user information than the above-mentioned Google Analytics. As a rule, they do not save for example information that identifies the users by name. The software can be used, for example, for presenting content personalized according to defined rules of network etiquette or for mouse tracking on the Datainfo.fi site.

9. Deletion of data

Data can be deleted because the Customer so requires or because the customer relationship terminates.

10. Principles of protecting the data file

The personal data are kept confidential. DataInfo Oy’s information network and the equipment on which the data file is located are protected by means of a firewall and other necessary technical measures.

11. Right of prohibition

The customer has the right to prohibit the disclosure and processing of their data for direct advertising and other marketing purposes.
